Welcome to Alberta
The University of
Alberta will have welcome stations at the Calgary Airport to assist travelers
seeking transport to the Fairmont Springs Hotel. Prior to arrival our
hosts will assist in obtaining travel documents.
Team Registration
On-site Registration
is provided by the UPE Honor Society Council. In addition to
certifying that all is in order, the UPE honors each finalist team with UPE
certificates of honor certificates and $300 plus
an additional $450 for teams representing institutions with UPE Chapters.
IBM TechTrekExperience the future with some of the most innovative people in
the industry. For team members and coaches and by invitation.
UPE Luncheon courtesy of IBM
At the UPE Luncheon you can meet the volunteers,
teams, and guests of the ACM-ICPC World Finals.
The World Finals
It just doesn't get any better than this. Finalist teams from teams competing in regionals on six continents come together for
the challenge of a life-time. Which team will win? It takes a lot of
knowledge, intuition, and skill - and a little luck - to be the next ACM Programming
Contest World Champion. All are invited to watch.
The Coaches Briefing
After the contest is over, but before the results are
finalized, the coaches are invited to a briefing by the Finals Director and the
Director of Judging. There will be a progress report and announcements
concerning the remaining events. Coaches may make suggestions for
improving the contest or advise us of any concerns. All such
communications must be submitted in writing and will be given prompt and careful
consideration.
The World Finals Celebration sponsored by IBM
Just ask anyone who was at the last World
Finals Celebration.
IBM shows some of the brightest next-generation computer scientists what fun is like - and vice versa.
