Team Notebook Construction Guide

1.  Get the parts.  For each notebook, you need a binder, 4 section headers with tabs labeled NOTES, HANDOUTS, REFERENCE, WORK, blank paper (1 cm thick), a pouch for pens and stuff, and then all of your stuff.

  (4) with tabs up to 1 cm thick for your stuff (omit the beans.)
         
2.  Download and print the HANDOUTS - DOWNLOAD
         
3.  Prepare and print your Team REFERENCE Document.  It can be up to 25 single-sided pages.  Number the pages in the upper right-hand corner.  Hand-numbered pages are acceptable.
         
4.  Assemble 3 notebooks, all with the same REFERENCE document.

5.  Before leaving Practice Session II, contestants must LEAVE their binders and any personal items that they wish to have during the World Finals at the team workstation.  This may include a printed dictionary, but no electronic items.

6.  Bring them to on-site registration along with a CD that contains your Team REFERENCE document as a PDF.  We will examine your notebooks to make sure they are OK.  You will deposit them before leaving the last Practice Session.  They will be at your workstations when the World Finals starts.
