Who, where, when?#

On-site Registration starts at the hotel on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 6:00 PM. Your team will register during the registration slot the coach selected. All members of the delegation must register at that time.

On-Site Registration confirms that your delegation is present, verifies official ICPC information, and reviews materials and items you would like to have at your workstation during the World Finals. You will be provided badges, t-shirts, and updated schedules.

What must we bring?#

  1. Each contestant must bring proof of identity and enrollment.
    • Bring an official picture ID and a photocopy of that ID.
      A passport, national ID, or driver's license is sufficient.
    • Bring proof of enrollment and a photocopy of that proof.
      A valid university ID or letter from a university official on university stationary is sufficient.
  2. Bring all items that you wish to have at your workstation during the World Finals for review and approval by the registrars.
    Your team may have one dictionary per contestant, three copies of your Team Reference Document, and a few personal items. Blank paper, graph paper, pens, pencils and calculators will be provided at each workstation.
    • Each contestant may bring a dictionary for translation purposes during the World Finals.
      Dictionaries must not be marked other than to identify the owner.
    • Each contestant may bring a copy of your Team Reference Document.
      This document may contain up to 25 pages of reference materials, single-sided, letter or A4 size, with pages numbered in the upper right-hand corner and your university name printed in the upper left-hand corner. Text and illustrations must be readable by a person with correctable eyesight without magnification from a distance of 1/2 meter. It may include hand-written comments and corrections on the fronts of pages only. The document should be in some type of notebook or folder with the name of your institution on the front.
    • Bring a CD of your Team Reference Document if you are bringing a Team Reference Document.
      Label the CD with your university's name. The CD should contain only one file, a PDF of your Team Reference Document, with no active elements.
    • Bring any personal items.
      Examples are dice, protractor, rulers, small totems.

On-Site Registration Process#

  1. Please identify yourselves to the registrars.
  2. Pick up your registration materials and complete the On-site Registration Checklist.
    Your team must review and correct contact information and spelling of names in registration materials and badges. Corrected badges will be provided while you wait.
  3. Turn in the completed On-site Registration Checklist and photocopies of your picture ID and proof of enrollment to the registrars.
  4. Turn in all Team Workstation Items to the inspectors for review.
    The inspectors will advise you of any changes that may be required. The inspectors are responsible for taking approved materials to your work station.
  5. Turn in your Team Reference Document CD to the inspectors if you plan to have copies of your Team Reference Document at your work station.
