The contest was hosted by Virginia Tech, Christopher Newport University, Drexel University, Duke University, Johns Hopkins University, Lehigh University, University of Delaware, and University of Scranton.
The contest drew students from colleges and universities throughout New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina. Winners selected from regional contests on six continents will advance to the ACM Programming Contest World Finals in Orlando, Florida, to compete for bragging rights and scholarships.
