The 2002 ACM Southwestern Europe Programming Contest
sponsored by IBM

hosted by the University of Porto, Portugal. The event is being organized by staff from the Faculties of Science and of Engineering.

Date of Contest: 15 - 17 November 2002
The contest draws students from colleges and universities throughout France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, western Austria, Germany (Baden-Wurttemberg, Bayern, Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt and Thuringen), Switzerland. Winners selected from regional contests on six continents will advance to the ACM Programming Contest World Finals to compete for bragging rights and scholarships.
Fees 25 Euros per person, until the 25th of October; 30 euros between 26th and 1st of November.
Fees Cover Saturday lunch and event dinner; Sunday brunch; T-shirts and gifts.
Billing Fees can be paid either at the contest-site (on 15/16th) or by bank transfer before the contest.
