We would like to express our thanks and great appreciation to

for its help in making this contest a successful one.
In particular, we would like to recognize Mark Lehr, Gina Vargas,
Mark Oliver, Jun Galendez, Dave Dant, Janet Lehr, Carla Miano,
Kevin Elwood, and Gary Patton for their work in
- securing the use of the contest facilities;
- preparing the labs with the contest staff before the contest,
including weekend, late, and (for some people) all night hours;
- ensuring a smooth recovery from the power outage on the 9th and
arranging for us to use an alternate location for our site prep work
that day (thanks, Jun!);
- making themselves available the day of the contest;
- and recruiting and coordinating a large and enthusiastic group of volunteers.
We would also like to thank
IBM
for its generous support of the contest, including financial support,
prizes, software, and recruiting.
