2003 Contest Report

Our biggest contest ever!

For the first time ever, the Pacific NW Region contest was held at 3 sites simultaneously:

• Portland State University
• CSU - Fresno
• BYU - Hawaii

Even though Hawaii has always been part of our region, because of the cost, we have had little or no participation from the island schools, historically. But, thanks to the initiative of Jim Nelson at BYUH, they hosted 6 teams, for a first-ever site in Hawaii!

In another first, we had over 80 teams register to participate!

Thanks to all of the volunteers at all the sites, especially:
