Pascal has been dropped as a World Finals Language

The software configuration for the 2008 World Finals will consist of the following configuration. You can follow these detailed instructions if you wish to build a system configured identically to what will be available to the teams.

         KDE
         GNOME
  • Editors
         vi/vim
         gvim
         emacs
         gedit
         kate
  • Languages:
         Java (version 1.6)
         C/C++ (GCC 4.1.2)
  • IDE:
         Java    - Eclipse 3.3.1
         C/C++ - CDT 4.0.1 under Eclipse 3.3.1
  • PC2 Contest Control System, Version 8+
